World’s Largest Sports & Entertainment Show Returning
to the I-X Center

Sports Fans and Collectors Converge on Cleveland for the 44th National
Cleveland, OH (Thursday, July 11, 2024) - The 44th National Sports Collectors Convention (The National) is returning to the I-X Center July 24 – July 28, 2024. The National is an annual gathering of sports fans, collectors, dealers and any other groups interested in collecting trading cards, autographs and other related memorabilia.
Open to the public, the National will transform the I-X Center into a collector’s paradise utilizing over 500,000 square feet, including the largest selection of high-profile dealers from around the country who will be buying, selling, and trading sought after sports and entertainment collectibles.
“The National Sports Collectors Convention is the sports and entertainment industry’s largest collectibles annual premier event.” said JBJ Promotions NSCC show managers. “A once In a lifetime experience the entire family can enjoy!”
The National Corporate area will feature high-profile collectible dealers including the leading signature and game-used authentication companies, collectible auction houses, appraisal companies and licensed trading card manufacturers.
The Ripping Wax Case Break Pavilion presented by Whatnot will showcase the leading serious Hobby breakers and beginners who want to purchase “spots” to collect their favorite teams or divisions in a very cost effective manner live on stream. This year attendees can expect prominent athletes, more famous personalities and more breaks!
Three (3) Official National Trade Nights “The Collectors Lounge” presented by eBay will take place from 6pm to 11pm Thursday, July 25th, Friday, July 26th and Saturday, July 27th with over 40,000 sq ft, located on the lower level concourse within the I-X Center. Attendees must show their NSCC badge or show admission wristband for free entry into The National Trade Night.
An exclusive sneak peek of THE DIAMOND KING, a documentary featuring Dick Perez, the most celebrated artist in the history of baseball, takes place Friday night July 26th at 6:30pm at the I-X Center’s first floor ballroom.
The National has teamed up with The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, The City Mission and The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission to conduct an on-line collectibles auction powered by Pristine Auction, with proceeds benefiting each Cleveland non-profit organization equally, July 20 through July 27, 2024. The auction features an array of sports collectibles, experiences, personally autographed sports and celebrity memorabilia, and original artwork by world-renowned sports artists James Fiorentino and Murray Henderson.
The National’s TRISTAR Autograph Pavilion has approximately one-hundred fifty (150) plus superstar athletes scheduled to sign, including: Manny Ramirez, Julius Erving, Joe Montana, Reggie Jackson, Barry Sanders, Floyd Mayweather, Cal Ripken Jr., Cherryl Miller, just to name a few. Cleveland, OH (Friday, July 2, 2024) – The National Sports Collectors Convention (National), the annual premier showcase event of the multi-billion dollar collectible industry, announced today that they are teaming up with; The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, The City Mission and The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission to conduct an on-line collectibles auction powered by Pristine Auction, with proceeds benefiting each Cleveland non-profit organization equally, July 20 through July 27, 2024.
“We are incredibly grateful for the community support and goodwill we continue to receive each year when The National returns to Cleveland,” said the JBJ Corporation, National show promoter. “As a gesture to give back we have teamed up for an on-line auction with all the proceeds benefiting three Cleveland non-profit organizations; The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, The City Mission and The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission.
Open to the public, The National will transform the I-X Center into a collector’s paradise utilizing 500,000 plus square feet including 850 high profile exhibitors from around the country who are buying, selling and trading sought after sports/entertainment collectibles and memorabilia. The National’s TRISTAR Autograph Pavilion will feature 140 plus superstar athletes / entertainers signing and taking photo-ops with sports fans and collectors alike throughout the week.
The 44th National Charity Auction, powered by Pristine Auction, features an array of sports collectibles, experiences, personally autographed sports and celebrity memorabilia, and original artwork by world-renowned sports artists James Fiorentino and Murray Henderson.
Fiorentino’s one-of-a-kind 28”x36” watercolor collage of Cleveland sports legends and iconic landmarks is an incredible piece of art painted in 2024 exclusively for The National.
Henderson’s LeBron James portrait is a 43”x44” acrylic painting mounted on wood with a pair of Nike Zoom style shoes on an adjustable swivel, adding a third dimension to the piece.

James Fiorentino is an internationally recognized artist who has painted some of the most recognized faces in the world. When Fiorentino was 17, Ted Williams commissioned James to paint a portrait of himself surrounded by 19 of the other greatest hitters in baseball, and shortly after the Williams painting, Cal Ripken Jr. hired Fiorentino to commemorate his historical consecutive games played streak. A master in watercolor, his works have been displayed in museums, galleries, and private collections across the globe.

Cleveland, OH – May 23, 2024 – The 44th National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) known simply as ‘The National’ in the Hobby is excited to team with award-winning independent film maker Marq Evans to host a sneak peek full viewing of The Diamond King. The documentary featuring, Dick Perez, one of the most celebrated sports artist in the history of baseball, takes place at The National, Friday night, July 26th, 6:30pm at the I-X Center’s first floor ballroom.
“ The NSCC is very excited and honored to host and publicly screen The Diamond King, a Marq Evans Film, featuring the world’s preeminent sports artist Dick Perez.” said Ray Schulte, NSCC Director of Communications. “Dick has made such an incredible impact on Hobby collectors and fans throughout the world of baseball.” “Audiences will be presented with an incredible lifelong inspirational journey and love of baseball through such a legend’s eyes.”
The Marq Evans film documents Dick’s illustrious career, best known for his baseball paintings for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (25 yrs. official BHOF artist) and the Philadelphia Phillies since 1982. For approximately forty-five (45) years Dick has painted every Baseball Hall of Famer. Dick also painted a yearly set of cards, featuring baseball’s premier players, called the “Diamond Kings” series for the Donruss Trading Card Company (1982-1996) in partnership with Frank and Peggy Steele (The Perez-Steele Galleries).
“I’m extremely honored to have shared my life’s journey, via Marq Evans documentary, and to have it exclusively screened at the 44th National will be an incredible gratifying experience.” said Dick Perez, renowned baseball artist. “I’m looking forward to attending the screening Friday, July 26th at the National and participating in a Q&A afterwards with Marq Evans.”
The 44th National returns to Cleveland and the I-X Center, July 24-28, 2024. The Diamond King exclusive sneak peek screening will be held on premise Friday, July 26th starting at 6:30pm ET followed by a question and answer session, then meet & greet with Dick Perez and Marq Evans. Seating space will be based on a first come – first served entry on-site within the I-X Center. Each attendee will receive a complimentary NSCC / The Diamond King commemorative ticket.
